Contact Information:

Show Airs: Fr. Pat can be heard at various time throughout the day.
Fr. Patrick Egan was educated at Beaumont, Caius, Cambridge, and Rome (the Gregorian). Ordained priest in 1967, he served as Associate Pastor, Pastor, Founder of the Diocesan Retreat Center and Senate of Priests in his home diocese of Westminster, United Kingdom. He ended up on Cardinal Basil Hume's personal staff at Westminster evaluating Pastoral Development in the diocese. Then (1978) he came into the charismatic renewal and was one of the founders of "Antioch", an ecumenical covenant community which still flourishes in West London today. Fr. Pat also served as a High School & Hospital Chaplain, and ran a series of effective Youth Clubs and Ministries, but his first love is, and has remained, people, but especially the lay apostolate.

Fr. Pat came to Ann Arbor, MI in 1982 to serve the Word of God, an ecumenical, lay renewal community, and The Catholic Fellowship, which he helped develop into Christ the King, now an official parish of the Diocese of Lansing. There his paths crossed with Tom Monaghan, founder and President of Domino's Pizza, who invited him to become Corporate Chaplain at Domino's Pizza at Domino's Farms, where he currently serves. Here he has helped develop the educational and charity work of the Domino's (Ave Maria) Foundation at home & overseas. He currently conducts a variety of local priestly ministries with the Catholics and parishes in town and has served the University of Michigan and St. Joe's as Hospital Chaplain.

Fr. Pat hosts a daily radio show on the Scriptures on WDEO. He's an experienced platform speaker, a published author, and in 1997 started broadcasting a successful daily radio show based on the Bible readings at Mass. He has spoken for Promise Keepers and at Franciscan University Conferences at Steubenville.

In 1995, Father Pat started developing the Catholic Men's Movement in Ann Arbor, which thrives locally and enjoys good relationships with Promise Keepers nationally and the National Conference of Bishops. This has influenced the development of similar ministries both locally and nationally.

Fr. Pat is well known for his exceptional gift of encouragement and wide circle of friends. He holds degrees from Cambridge (Medical Sciences), Rome (Theology) and the London School of Economics (Sociology). He is a published author and contributor to professional journals, and remains in good standing with his home diocese and with Bishop Mengeling in Lansing.

In his spare time he's a university sports coach, gardener, and loves art, architecture, travelling and dogs. Fr. Pat writes, broadcasts and contributes regularly to professional journals.
